Best Chinese cuisine in Atlantic City, It may not look great outside but the food will blow you away!!! Order the spicy pork chops, Yang Chow Fried Rice and Calamari as an appetizer, Many other dishes to choose from...:) Also have great soups from Beef tendon to Wonton Minn....:) I never miss going there when I go to Atlantic City in fact it is a MUST for us!!!!
Sketchy part of town so go early. Some parking on site. We are talking old school Chinese meets authentic Asian cuisine. Love the lights and chatzkas everywhere. Spicy pork chops and the walnut shrimp are a must. Don't miss the best hot and sour soup around. Service can appear to be be a bit brusk but I assure you, if you are nice, they are nicer.
We have always enjoyed their food ( Peking Duck, Fried rice). The lady who manages provides great service and recommendations. It is a classic decor location. We would recommend for US and traditional/authentic foods.
We've been ordering Singapore noodles from this place for years. The meat pieces in the dish are very high quality, not fatty or tough. Seasoning is perfect. Added an order of hot and sour soup last night. I normally avoid this because I'm usually disappointed. It was terrific! Best I've had in this part of the world. Quite a nice kick, good meat and all the lily buds , tofu and mushrooms. I've never eaten in here so can't attest to the ambience. But the service for takeout is lightning fast. Giving it only 5 stars because it's been years since I ordered anything but these 2 dishes .
Like authentic Cantonese food? This place is the REAL DEAL. This is Chinese cuisine at its finest. You will see some familiar offerings on the menu, but cooked in the traditional style without all of the sugar most American style Chinese food has in it. Delicious roasted pork...a perfectly crispy scallion pancake...amazing wonton soup...all the good stuff. Try the pork and preserved egg congee! It's my favorite and so comforting! Food was prepared fresh and came quickly. Calling all foodies in Atlantic City! This is the spot to find out what Chinese food is all about!
This is definitely a family owned business serving delicious Chinese food. We ordered the Peking duck, water spinach stir fry, walnut shrimp and steamed oysters. The Peking duck is different to the style I've had before, but the skin was crispy and they cut the meat and removed the bones so you can put it into the steamed bun, there was sauce and green onions. Very good. The water spinach stir fry was delicious, classic flavor. The walnut shrimp came with broccoli, pretty large plump shrimp and walnuts. It was good. The oysters, they were so big. I was surprised at how large they were. They did a classic Cantonese style steam on the oysters but they were meaty and delicious. Overall definitely recommend this place for their food. The servers take your order, refill your drinks, and bring your orders. Not much interaction but that's how Chinese restaurants usually are.
40 years plus later still great. Never ever a bad meal. Love the Peking duck. Not sure of anywhere else to go from state to state. We have always been extraordinarily happy with service, friendliness and of course the quality of food
